After starting his career as a tax lawyer, Foulques de Rostolan quickly specialized in labor & employment law.

He now focuses his practice on corporate reorganization and transfer cases (business takeovers, operator succession, internalization of service providers, etc.) as well as restructuring cases (collective performance agreements, voluntary departure plans, collective redundancy plans, etc.).

He is also a recognized expert in the labor & employment aspects of corporate transactions (acquisitions, domestic and transnational mergers, tender offers), for which he works with leading domestic and international law firms.

As a member of the Global Leaders Employment Forum in France, he advises numerous foreign groups on the implementation of their compensation and compliance policies in France.

Lastly, he represents his clients in litigation before all courts, notably in cases involving industrial groups or their shareholders against former employees of wound up subsidiaries, or in disputes concerning information and consultation of staff representative bodies.

He is a graduate of HEC business school and holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in international taxation (Paris II – Assas).

Foulques de Rostolan practiced for over 20 years at the leading law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he was a partner and co-head of the employment law practice group from 2012 to 2023.
