After graduating from the University of Paris II with a master’s degree in labor & employment law, Gheorghe Big joined the Droit de la protection sociale d’entreprise post-graduate program at the Sorbonne Law School (Paris I).

He completed a one-year apprenticeship with Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he gained initial experience in compensation & benefits, employee savings plans, social security litigation and pension schemes.

In parallel with his studies, he completed a 6-month internship with CMS Francis Lefebvre, where he was able to deepen his experience in social security litigation and employee savings schemes.

After his final internship, he joined Gide Loyrette Nouel in 2022. There, he was primarily involved in social protection cases, but also assisted clients with the organization of staff representatives elections and collective labor relations litigation (notably in connection with emergency procedures and staff representative alerts). He has also advised clients on issues specific to the airline and electricity and gas industries.

Gheorghe is a lecturer in social protection law at the Sorbonne Law School (Paris I).
